DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT.

1. INFORMATION ON THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

1.1 Personal data is any data that can be traced to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

1.2 Flunx Media GmbH, Eppendorfer Landstr. 12, 20249 Hamburg, Germany is responsible for the content pursuant to Art. 4 para. 7 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.

1.3 When you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide us with (your e-mail address and possibly your name) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We will delete the data that arises in this context after it is no longer required to be stored, or we will restrict processing if there are legal storage obligations.

2. YOUR RIGHTS

2.1 You have the following rights towards us with respect to personal data relating to you: the right to information, the right to correction or deletion, the right to limitation of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data transfer.

2.2  You also have the right to lodge a complaint to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

3. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA WHEN YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE

3.1 When using the website for informational purposes only, we collect the data that your browser transmits to our server:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the query
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific page or file and amount of data)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Website from which the request originates
  • Web browser and language used
  • Operating system and its interface

After your visit, the IP address is stored for a short period of time to ensure IT security – in particular to protect our IT systems from misuse and to ward off attacks. All other data will be deleted as soon as you have finished using our website. We reserve the right to evaluate the data in anonymous form for statistical purposes and to improve our Internet presence.

3.2 In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our websites. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your hard drive assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to us. Our websites use persistent cookies. They are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser. You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. We would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website.

4. YOUTUBE

For the integration of video, our site uses the provider YouTube LLC , 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Normally, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. We have embedded our YouTube videos with the plugin WP Youtube Lyte.  This means that YouTube no longer stores any information about the visitors unless they watch the video (2-click solution). If you click on the video, your IP address will be sent to YouTube, and YouTube will know that you watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be associated with your account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).

We are not aware of nor do we have any influence on the collection and use of your data by YouTube. For more information, please refer to YouTube’s Privacy Policy. In addition, we refer you to our general description in this privacy statement for the general handling and deactivation of cookies.

5. LEGAL BASIS

The legal basis for the data processing described in § 3 is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f EU-General Data Protection Regulation GDPR. The collected data is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security or to make the internet presence more user-friendly and effective.

6. RECIPIENTS OF DATA

The aforementioned data may be viewed by contract processors who operate or maintain our website and systems.
