How we tell the supply chain story in the humanitarian context using animation

The video animation we produced for Help Logistics (Kühne Foundation, Switzerland) is by far the most frequently accessed video on Help Logistic’s YouTube channel.

Since being uploaded in February 2019, everyone can now learn about the supply chain and logistics in the humanitarian context via a short animation. The supply chain is an interconnected system involving flows of goods, people, data and funds. In the humanitarian context, the supply chain encompasses different phases starting with activities to build resilience, strengthen capacities and prepare for operations to come.

When disaster strikes, the assessment and planning measures determine the humanitarian programme to be carried out. The actual operation begins through the mobilisation of resources and sourcing of commodities, which are then shipped and distributed to the affected population.

You may watch the video on YouTube.
